Kiesha Yokers

Somatic Coach

Kiesha Yokers is a trauma-informed breathwork facilitator and somatic embodiment life coach dedicated to providing individuals with somatic tools to address and heal trauma within the body. Her personal journey from childhood anxiety to embracing deep trauma work in 2020 has fueled her passion for holistic healing.

With over 15 years of experience as an elementary school teacher, Kiesha seamlessly integrates her educational background into her coaching practice, teaching both adults and children self-regulation strategies and fostering a deeper connection with their bodies.

Kiesha's extensive training includes certifications as a trauma-informed breathwork facilitator, meditation teacher, and holistic health coach. She is an ICF-accredited embodiment life coach and has pursued studies at the Strozzi Institute and in Somatic Experiencing. Her commitment to continuous learning ensures she remains at the forefront of somatic healing practices.

Recognizing the lack of accessibility in the wellness industry, especially for marginalized communities, Kiesha is driven to make healing strategies available to all. She actively shares her knowledge through platforms like Instagram, her blog, and offers sliding scale group classes to reach underrepresented populations.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Kiesha is a mother of two and has been a proud military spouse for 14 years. Her diverse experiences, including living in Japan and a brief stint as a professional dancer, enrich her holistic approach to wellness.

Kiesha's mission is encapsulated in her belief that "wellness is for everybody," striving to empower individuals to become advocates for their bodies, rest, and overall well-being.
