Bearing Witness: A Gathering for Grief + Justice
Date & Time: Thursday, June 13 at 6PM PST
Location: Virtual (link provided upon registration)
Cost: Free
Open To: All who want to process, grieve, and be in community
Description:
In response to the recent ICE raids across Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego—and the waves of grief, fear, and fury they’ve stirred—we invite you to a virtual space of collective processing, presence, and power.
This Gathering for Grief + Justice is open to anyone who is feeling impacted—whether you’re directly affected, holding space for loved ones, or reckoning with what it means to witness injustice.
Together, we’ll honor both the tenderness and fire that arise in moments like this. We’ll grieve. We’ll ask questions. We’ll remember we’re not alone.
This gathering will be held by:
Micaela Palacios, transformational coach and daughter of immigrants
Chrissy Powers, LMFT, trauma-informed therapist
Summer Wright, human rights attorney
Expect a supportive mix of emotional grounding, spiritual reflection, and legal clarity. Bring your heartbreak, your questions, your rage, your voice.
Grief is not a weakness. Rage is not wrong. Bearing witness is a practice.
